Left shoulder pain and reduced range of motion.

Calcification is present superior to the humeral head, typical for calcific tendinitis.

Case Discussion

Calcific tendinitis is due to calcium hydroxyapatite deposition within tendons, usually of the rotator cuff, particularly the supraspinatus tendon.
