Calcific tendinitis - infraspinatus tendon

Intra-tendinous focal constant hypointensity ( low on T1/T2 ) lesion along with the infraspinatus tendon superior fibers.
Subacromial / subdeltoid bursa is present.
Acromion type II is seen.
Case Discussion
Calcific deposit in the region of the infraspinatus tendon, in a patient with acute right shoulder pain. Findings are consistent with calcific tendinitis.
