There is a calcification of the longus colli muscle which measures 8 mm and is located anterior to C2 vertebra.
Case Discussion
The calcific tendinitis of the longus colli muscle is a benign and self-limited entity, characterized by the presence of calcium deposits at the C1-C2 level. It can present clinically with neck pain, odynophagia, or dysphagia.
