Presentation

Non-traumatic acute onset of left hip pain for 2 days. Referred for radiograph and hip ultrasound.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Faint calcification near left anterior inferior iliac spine.

Calcification is noted in rectus femoris with local hypervascularity. No hip effusion is noted.
