Oval-shaped calcific density is noted just above the level of greater tuberosity of the left humerus.
Case Discussion
The low signal intensity on T1 and T2 at the substance of the supraspinatus tendon, revealed on plain X-ray to represent calcifications, reflecting calcific tendinitis. Supraspinatus tendon is the commonest site of the rotator cuff muscle tendons for calcific tendinitis.
