Case Discussion
Calcific tendinitis is a common condition causing both pain and limited shoulder movement.
Frequently a pain shoulder film is first performed, with both ultrasound and MRI playing a role in different certain clinical scenarios.
The supraspinatus tendon is the most commonly involved of the rotator cuff muscles. Calcification is common, in some cases it may be exuberant and have a configuration similar to toothpaste squeezed from a tube.
