Calcified mass in the left parietal region.
It partly parallels the periosteum, in keeping with being contained by it.
Case Discussion
Cephalohematomas are traumatic subperiosteal hematomas that are usually caused by birth injury.
These hematomas are bound by the periosteum and therefore cannot cross sutures. A proportion of them will calcify over time.
