Large subcutaneous swelling over the left side of the head near the vertex with internal linear calcification.
Case Discussion
The obstetric history was of ventouse delivery and on further questioning, there had always been a lump on the child's head.
The radiographic features here are classical of a calcified cephalohaematoma due to the ventouse delivery. It would have been present at, or shortly after birth.
