There is a rounded, calcified mass in the pelvis. Calcification is mainly coarse peripheral and central in nature.
Case Discussion
This case was confirmed by ultrasonography as a calcified fibroid uterus.
Calcified uterine fibroids can be seen in plain abdominal x-ray. Calcification is usually of "popcorn" type but also can be peripheral coarse and central type of calcification.
