Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

CT abdomen and pelvis

CT scan shows a round well defined cystic mass in the liver parenchyma which has heterogeneous high density and mural calcification. There is also a gallstone.

Case Discussion

The image appearance is highly suggestive of hydatid cyst.
