Calcified mediastinal lymph node after radiotherapy

Presentation

Mild chest pain and cough. Previous lymphoma.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

Large calcified mediastinal lymph node at the aortopulmonary (AP) window. Linear opacities in the medial right upper zone and apex.

Sternal wires and evidence of prior CABG.

Case Discussion

This patient had prior mediastinal radiotherapy which is a known cause of calcified lymph nodes.
