x-ray

Multiple mediastinal, bilateral hilar and upper abdominal rounded dense structures, notably on both hilar regions, reflecting multiple calcified lymphadenopathies.

Case Discussion

Calcified hilar lymph nodes usually represent healed granulomatous infections such as tuberculosis, histoplasmosis, and sarcoidosis. The patient is Indian where most mediastinal lymphadenopathy is due to tuberculosis. The patient reported no symptoms of active disease.
