Well-defined lobulated broad-based extra-axial right frontal mass of low signal intensity on T1, very low signal intensity on T2, FLAIR and T2 GE (calcified component) with vivid heterogeneous enhancement and dural tail sign on postcontrast sequences. Surrounding vasogenic edema with no significant mass effect on the midline structures.
Right temporoparietal cortical laminar necrosis.
Cerebral volume loss with small vessel ischemic change.
Case Discussion
MRI features most consistent with a calcified frontal meningioma with right temporoparietal cortical laminar necrosis.
