Work up for abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Female

A 54 mm unilocular cyst with calcified wall and without enhancing solid component is noted in the spleen.

Case Discussion

Features on CT scan are most consistent with the calcified splenic epidermoid cyst, which typically shows a hypoattenuating well-defined thin-walled lesion without rim or internal enhancement. Wall calcification may be present.
