Axial CT images demonstrate a calcified anterior urinary bladder wall lesion with small calcified focus immediately anterior to the anterior wall of the urinary bladder. Sagittal MPR demonstrates a tube-like urachal diverticulum with small intraluminal radiodense lesions.
Case Discussion
The patient was referred for non-contrast CT urinary tract protocol for urologic complaints including dysuria and suprapubic pain, with suprapubic tenderness on physical examination. Pelvic ultrasonography showed a calcified object within the anterior urinary bladder wall.
The patient’s final diagnosis was vesicourachal diverticulum stones together with a calcified urachal remnant.
