Presentation
Pain in both hips ?OA
Patient Data
Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
From the case:
Calcified uterine fibroids
Frontal

Cluster of multiple large volume calcified lesions projected over the left sacrum/superolateral pelvic inlet consistent with known chronic uterine fibroids.
OA of the both hips.
Case Discussion
Calcified uterine fibroids are a common finding on imaging, in this case a pelvic radiograph performed to assess for pain in the hips when walking. It is important as a radiologist to be aware of common incidental findings such as these so time and effort is not wasted investigating benign chronic findings.
