Presentation
Pathologically proven adenocarcinoma of the stomach.
Patient Data

Numerous variable-size nodules and masses are scattered through both lungs, some of which show calcification or ossification (ossifying pulmonary metastasis).
Enlarged right para tracheal and right hilar lymph nodes are also noted.
Wall-thickening of the gastric cardia, fundus, and proximal body.
Multiple enlarged perigastric lymph nodes.
Multiple heterogeneous lesions in both lobes of the liver show calcifications.
Case Discussion
Gastric adenocarcinoma is a known cause of calcifying metastases and an exceptionally rare cause of ossifying metastases which may be due to metaplasia of fibroblasts. Differentiation between calcification and heterotopic ossification requires biopsy
