Lateral skull projection shows a small, well-defined lucent focus surrounded by a thin sclerotic margin, which represents a typical Group I calvarial doughnut lesion.
Case Discussion
Calvarial doughnut lesions consist of one or more lytic skull lesions, with surrounding sclerotic halo, which may occur in any part of the skull. They are divided into two groups by their x-ray configuration 1,2. This case illustrates the typical features of the group I calvarial doughnut lesion in a good health child.
