Bilateral ovaries containing multiple small follicles were seen in inguinal canals. During the examination the left ovary could be reduced into the abdominal cavity whereas the right ovary could not.
Case Discussion
This case shows the importance of high-resolution ultrasound in the diagnosis of inguinal herniations. One can see intestines, omentum, testes, ovaries, and fallopian tubes.
