Case Discussion

Ultrasound features are consistent with a left canal of Nuck hernia transmitting the left ovary. Canal of Nuck hernias are rare and can transmit the ovary in females. It differs from canal of Nuck hydroceles in its connection to the peritoneal cavity and visible transmitted contents through the inguinal defect. Other conditions associated with a patent canal of Nuck are hydroceles and endometriosis.
