Presentation

Patient has known history of inflammatory bowel disease.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male
  1. Cholecystectomy clips

  2. Prior vertebroplasty

  3. Trapease IVC filter

  4. GI sutures in right lower quadrant

  5. The pill camera from endoscopy probably is in distal small bowel and did not cross this region even after many days

Case Discussion

During exploratory laparotomy due to multiple adhesions the surgery was aborted prematurely. For now the pill camera was left behind.
