Thickening and enhancing soft tissue infiltration is seen in the falciform ligament.
Multifocal mesenteric and omental thickenings and soft tissue infiltration are also noted.
Case Discussion
Falciform ligament is a common site for peritoneal carcinomatosis. Peritoneal carcinomatosis is predominantly associated with ovary, colorectal, gastric and pancreatic cancer. Omentum, mesentery, paracolic gutter, pouch of Douglas and diaphragm are the other sites for peritoneal carcinomatosis.
