Caroli's disease

Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Right pleural effusion. However, USG showed possibility of Caroli disease as an incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male
mri

Multiple cystic lesions of varying sizes are seen scattered in both lobes of liver, and communicating with biliary tree. A left renal simple cyst is also noted.

Case Discussion

This case may represent Caroli's disease based on MR morphology, although diagnosis could not be confirmed.
