A large avidly enhancing soft tissue mass in the anterior triangle of the right neck at the carotid bifurcation with characteristic splaying of the internal carotid artery and external carotid artery. The lesion is measuring approximately 4.5cm x 4.7cm x 7cm in size.

A carotid body tumor (also called chemodectoma or carotid body paraganglioma) is a vascular tumor located at the carotid bifurcation. It causes splaying of the internal and external carotid arteries.
