The clinically visible and palpable nodule is indicated.

Bony prominence at the dorsum of the 3rd CMC joint with superficial hypoechoic soft tissue thickening cause the clinically visible and palpable nodule. No ossicle locally. No ganglia/ extensor tendon snapping.
Symptomatic as well as asymptomatic short-axis cine-loop run from the distal to the proximal direction.
Case Discussion
The case shows ultrasound findings of a carpal boss. The radiograph revealed similar bone changes (not uploaded, no copy right).
