Sagittal MRI and lateral xray shows absence of the sacrum (Sacral agenesis) below the level of L1.
The conus terminates opposite D11-12 level with abnormal truncated appearance.
Case Discussion
Caudal regression syndrome group 1 is characterized by multiple caudal structural defects. The current study includes agenesis of the sacral vertebrae below the level of S1 associated with truncated conus which terminates at a higher level D11-12.
