Caudal regression syndrome

Hip deformity, urinary incontinence and delayed motor milestones.

Patient Data

Age: 5 years
Gender: Male

Club shaped abrupt ending of conus medullaris at upper part of T12 vertebral level. Bilateral partial sacral agenesis with intact S2. Thoracic spinal cord shows syrinx from T5 to T11 level.

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with caudal regression syndrome (type I) .
