Presentation

5 years old boy with urinary incontinence and chronic constipation.

Patient Data

Age: 5 years
Gender: Male

Sacral dysgenesis / hypogenesis and wedge-shaped termination of the conus at D12.

Case Discussion

This case shows  typical type I Caudal regression syndrome.

Type II Caudal regression syndrome is a constellation of low-lying conus terminating in a lipoma & sacral hypogenesis.
