Cavernoma - frontal

Well-defined ovoid mass of right frontal location. It displays a mixed-signal intensity centrally on both T1, T2 and FLAIR with prominent blooming on gradient echo sequence. No surrounding edema or enhancement on postcontrast sequence.
Chronic lacunar infarct of the pons with surrounding gliosis on FLAIR.
Small vessel ischemic change of the periventricular white matter.
Moderate cerebellar volume loss with dilated 4th ventricle.
Case Discussion
MRI features most consistent with cavernoma (or cerebral cavernous venous malformation) type II according to Zabramski classification.
