Cavernoma - temporal lobe

Presentation

Seizures.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
mri

A small well-defined ovoid mass (13 x 7 x 6 mm) of subcortical location in the left temporal lobe. It displays a mixed-signal intensity centrally on both T1 and T2 with prominent blooming on T2* sequence and mild enhancement on postcontrast sequences. No surrounding edema is seen.
