Transverse MPR of a Gd-enhanced 3D-LAVA sequence (portal venous phase) at the level of the portal vein bifurcation.
The right portal vein branch is filled by an organized thrombus with only minimal re-canalization and surrounded by multiple small tortuous vessels. On MRA, the right portal branch is not visualized.
