Cavitating right lower lobe tumor

Presentation

Shortness of breath and pleuritic chest pain

Patient Data

Age: Adult
Gender: Male

The CT confirms the presence of an 8 cm cavitating mass in the right lower lobe. Pleural thickening, but no chest wall invasion. Ipsilateral bronchial lymphadenopathy and a 1.5 cm subcarinal node.
