Age: 17 years
Gender: Female
CT

There is a large mass in the body of the left lateral ventricle, displacing the septum pellucidum and obstructing the outflow of the ventricles, with resultant obstructive hydrocephalus

The mass is heterogenous in density and signal, with patchy enhancement. 

MRI

MRI demonstrate a large mass in the body of the left lateral ventricle, displacing the septum pellucidum and obstructing the outflow of the ventricles, with resultant obstructive hydrocephalus

The mass is heterogenous in density and signal, with patchy enhancement. 

Case Discussion

The mass was excised and pathologically proven to be a central neurocytoma.
