Large extracranial right parieto--occiptal cephalohematoma is seen. The underlying skull vault appears intact with no depressed bony fragment.
Case Discussion
Large scalp soft tissue swelling on the right side is seen. It does not extend to exceed the related skull suture. Crossing the suture is the hallmark and differentiating point of cephalohematoma from subgaleal hematoma.
