The MRI sequences demonstrate a rounded well-circumscribed left cerebellar lesion. Centrally the lesion appears of heterogeneous signal with areas of high on both T1WI/T2WI, and FLAIR. Peripherally, there is a rim of low signal on all sequences (hemosiderin) with signal loss and blooming on GE sequence. No surrounding edema. Minimal heterogeneous enhancement is noted on the postcontrast sequence.
