A focal depressed skull fracture with underlying pneumocephalus and cerebral contusion is present. 

CT brain 5 weeks later

ct

CT with contrast obtained 5 weeks later when the patient represented with headaches demonstrates a ring-enhancing lesion consistent with an abscess. 

Case Discussion

Patient was stabbed and developed a frontal cerebral abscess (confirmed at surgery) with representation 5 weeks later.
