Axial T1

Right precentral gyrus frontal hematoma in the late subacute stage displaying bright signal on T1, T2, GRE and T2 Fat suppressed sequences with marginal T2 hypointense rim of hemosiderin deposition. Multiple minute foci of hemosiderin deposition are seen scattered within the brain parenchyma. Involutional brain changes and deep white matter ischemia are also noted.
Case Discussion
Foci of microhemorrhage and right frontal hematoma are suggestive of cerebral amyloid angiopathy.
