Cerebral amyloid angiopathy

Progressive decline in memory since 6 months,with blunting of emotions.

Patient Data

Age: 75

GRE : Showing multiple areas of blooming artifact suggestive of areas of hemosiderin deposition consistent with cerebral amyloid angiopathy.

T2: showing  diffuse atrophy of fronto-parietal regions with ex-vacuo enlargement of ventricles. 

Case Discussion

Brain biopsy was not performed at this stage.
