Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Progressive decline in memory for 6 months, associated with emotional blunting.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
mri

GRE : multiple areas of blooming artifact suggestive of areas of hemosiderin deposition consistent with cerebral amyloid angiopathy.

T2: diffuse atrophy of fronto-parietal regions with ex-vacuo enlargement of ventricles.

Brain biopsy was not performed at this stage.
