Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

There is irregular-outlined focal nidus of mixed signal intensity with numerous serpiginous flow-voids seen in right temporal lobe consistent with arteriovenous malformation (AVM). The feeding artery appears to come from right middle cerebral artery and venous drainage through enlarged superficial cerebral vein over the right parietal lobe into the superior sagittal sinus. No significant mass effect or associated hemorrhage.
