Presentation

Progressive cognitive impairment.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Bilateral, multifocal confluent deep white matter and periventricular T2/FLAIR hyperintense signals.

No true restriction diffusion.

Case Discussion

The involvement of the anterior temporal lobe and external capsule as in our case has high sensitivity and specificity in differentiating CADASIL from common cerebral small vessel disease.
