There is a left frontal nodular lesion showing a prominent blooming artifact on susceptibility imaging (SWI), having a characteristic "popcorn" appearance, and associated with a developmental venous anomaly (DVA). Remaining brain is unremarkable and MRA does not show any relevant feature.
Case Discussion
This case illustrates a typical mixed vascular malformation, which represents the common association between cerebral cavernous venous malformation (cavernoma) and developmental venous anomaly (DVA).
