Cortical based lesion, with peripherally hemosiderin stain in the left frontal lobe, showing central high T1 and T2 signal intensities with no surrounding edema.
Marked blooming artifact detected in T2*GRE.
Case Discussion
Features are of cerebral cavernous venous malformation. The absence of edema can be assuring of no recent bleeding.
