Cerebral cavernous venous malformation

Left high temporal intra-axial space-occupying lesion (1.4 x 1.2 x 1.1 cm) that displays a typical popcorn appearance on T1 and T2WI with the marginal hypointense rim on T2 due to hemosiderin deposition. The lesion displays susceptibility artifact on DWI.
No post-contrast enhancement.
No surrounding edema.
No other intra or extra-axial mass lesion in the cranial fossa.
The rest of the brain parenchyma is normal.
Case Discussion
The imaging features are characteristic of cerebral cavernous venous malformations, (cavernoma) a cerebral vascular malformation and a known cause of seizures.
