Cerebral contusion with acute extravasation of blood

CT brain demonstrates a large left frontal hemorrhagic cerebral contusion with associated traumatic subarachnoid and subdural hemorrhage.
CT angiography demonstrates a "spot sign" representing active extravasation of contrast and ongoing bleeding.
Case Discussion
The patient went on to have a craniotomy and a bleeding cortical artery (torn) was identified and cauterised.
