Presentation

Sudden chest pain, resuscitation.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
ct

Compressed sulci, the border of the grey- and white matter is blurred. The ventricles are thin, symmetric. Intracranial hemorrhage, ischemia are not detected.  After contrast, there is no enhancement.

The CT scan demonstrates irreversible cerebral edema and brain death.
