Patient with untreated HIV infection with sudden onset of hemiparesis in the right dimidium.

MRI evidences multiple lesions compromising the left basal ganglia and corticomedullary junction. These lesions appear with surrounding perilesional edema and ring enhancement after intravenous contrast administration.
