Cervical carcinoma: squamous cell

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Abnormal vaginal bleeding.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

Large cervical mass involving both anterior and posterior lips of the cervix. Disruption of the T2WI hypointense stroma ring suggests parametrial invasion. Invasion of the upper third of the vagina is noted. Intact posterior urinary bladder wall, no invasion.

Restricted diffusion with ADC value 733.2x 10(-3) mm2/sec.

Case Discussion

Pathologically proven to be cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Radiological findings suggest stage IIb.
