Cervical carcinoma - stage IV with nephrostomy insertion

Presentation

Investigation for vaginal bleeding.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

Images demonstrate a locally advanced cervical cancer (stage IV) involving anterior lower rectum with tumor approaching the urethra but without definite urethral invasion. 

Obstruction of both lower ureters results in bilateral hydronephrosis, though there is still good enhancement of both kidneys. 

There is no distant metastatic disease.

Bilateral percutaneous nephrostomy tubes under ultrasound and fluoroscopic guidance.
