There is a triangular fluid-filled defect (12 x 10 x 7 mm) from the anterior uterine wall at the site of a previous cesarean section scar. Its base communicates with the endometrial cavity. There is no focal myometrial lesion. The combined endometrial thickness is 3 mm. There is no endometrial mass lesion/ collection.
Both ovaries show a normal follicular pattern. There is no adnexal mass lesion. There is no free fluid in the pelvis.
Case Discussion
The ultrasound findings favor the cesarean section scar diverticulum.
